Every project has risks. If you ignore them altogether, the project is likely to fail. On the other hand, if you take preventive action on every single conceivable risk, the project can become cost prohibitive. The key is to apply appropriate response strategies to each identified risk. This can be done through a structured process involving identification, analysis, and prioritization of risks followed by development and implementation of proactive strategies to address them. This course presents a proven six-step risk management process that is consistent with Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge Guide. It includes commonly used tools, techniques, and best practices associated with each step. Effective risk management practices are offered for each phase of the project life cycle including initiation, planning, execution and closing. You will be able to apply what you learn in this course immediately to your projects. The benefits of attending it include:

Course Format
This course will be held in a highly interactive workshop format. The delegates will be divided into small teams. Throughout the workshop, each team will be working separately on exercises built around case studies reflecting real world projects. At the end of each exercise there will be team presentations followed by a group discussion by the facilitator and the delegates. The exercises will involve identification, analysis, and prioritization of risks and development of response strategies. Furthermore, you will apply various risk management tools and techniques to different real world scenarios.

About Your Expert Trainer

Dr. Prasad Kodukula, PMP, PgMP is a speaker, coach, author, and inventor with more than 25 years of professional experience.
