Capacity Building for PPP Projects & Procurement Contracts Management Forum

The Capital Empire, Johannesburg, South Africa,
24 - 27 March 2015

Capacity Building for PPP Projects & Procurement Contracts Management Forum

EVENT THEME: “Ensuring successful PPP Initiatives through Effective Capacity Building Program”

BRIEF OVERVIEW

Following the success of Africa PPPs Investment and Development Summit 2014, Neoedge is proud to organize a forum that aims to build the capacity of those who are involved in PPPs initiatives across Africa. Capacity Building for PPP Projects and Procurement Contracts Management Forum will focus on all the key stages of PPP projects as well as how to manage the contracts once the construction stage is done.

Capacity building in any PPP initiatives should be an on going process. We need to understand the critical success factors of PPPs, how concepts translate into real progress, anticipate draining inhibitors, find effective solutions, learn from tried and tested best practices and most importantly, move beyond them and explore the avenues to INNOVATE.

The forum also presents unique perspectives on how the capacity building should be done in every stage of PPP initiative. Capacity building in itself consumes plenty of resources therefore we need to be able to measure and ensure that the goals are met.

In order to achieve these objectives we have gathered international experts across Africa and internationally to present international best practices and to see how that will fit into Africa contexts. We hope that this forum will contribute to the success of PPP initiatives in Africa and the continent economic growth at large.
