Maintenance Management Workshop
20 - 22 August 2014
Holiday Inn Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa,
The resource’s boom is over and operating assets are being asked to maintain more efficiently and extend equipment life.
We see an increasing need for business to operate and maintain assets that are ageing all the time without actually being replaced.
This year our workshop topics / topic changes will meet this market change and its relevant learning needs.
The specific aim of this program is to provide your staff with new and advanced levels of understanding about how identified asset criticalities allow a business to effectively improve how it manages assets and takes the emotion out of how maintenance & reliability functions are carried out.
The benefits across the board within your business will produce a far greater understanding of maintenance practices and allow you to manage your assets more effectively. No longer just a cost centre, the maintenance unit can and does deliver enormous benefits to the wider business.
This course is aimed at challenging the current best practice principles through presenting new ideas, strategies and effective implementation techniques that will assist attendees to drive improvements in a number of areas of maintenance.
We will offer case studies from organizations in clear, straight-forward language followed by workshops and exercises which allow the attendees to apply what they have learnt to their own unique situations and operating environments.
This tailor made program ensures that each attendee will leave with a far deeper understanding of what an effective maintenance business unit can deliver to their business and a high level of interaction with the presenter will be actively encouraged throughout the 3 days to ensure delegates gain the most opportunities for learning and utilise the presenter’s knowledge and skills.
Course format
The course format includes presentations on key aspects of the standards, interpretation and their revisions, small group exercises and longer workshop style case studies focusing on likely areas presenting application difficulty, group discussions and reviews of relevant financial statements prepared by early adopters.
Pre-course questionnaire
A pre-course questionnaire will be sent to you upon your registration which will allow you to raise your specific areas of interest. Alan will review and analyze these in advance and address them during the workshops, seeking to fully satisfy your learning needs.
